It’s important to note that the towing capacity should never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component involved.

With a 3" inside diameter, the lunette ring fits a variety of CURT pintle hooks and ball and pintle combinations. The heavy-duty towing done with pintle hitches can result in wear and tear on your towing equipment. To combat this, CURT uses a quality finish on all their pintle mounts, lunette eyes, and combination pintle hitches. The lunette eye is coated in a tough black powder coat finish to provide the perfect amount of rust and scratch resistance needed for heavy-duty towing.

It has an inside diameter of 3 inches to fit a wide variety of pintle hitch options and can be coupled to most pintle hooks and ball and pintle hitch combinations. For secure installation, the lunette ring is designed to mount onto a CURT lunette ring channel with the bolt kit #48620 (2-inch bolt pattern, sold separately), allowing for flexible height adjustment.
